Job Type: Temp to Perm
Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 annually
Schedule: Monday – Friday – 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Possible Overtime)
Position Overview
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing production and warehouse activities including kit builds (regular and continuous), manpower allocation, trailer coordination, receiving workflows, and production reporting. This role ensures optimal resource utilization, operational accuracy, safety compliance, and team performance while supporting quality control and inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily start-of-shift meetings to align teams on goals, assignments, and safety expectations.
- Supervise production, warehouse, and external facility personnel.
- Monitor execution of kit builds to ensure full-run completion and accurate reporting.
- Allocate manpower based on production complexity and daily workflow needs.
- Coordinate trailer movements and dock scheduling to maintain continuous receiving flow.
- Perform SAP inventory transactions including kit table moves, replenishment, and overage processing.
- Investigate and report kit overages/shortages; escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain accurate production, safety, equipment, and productivity reports.
- Order and track parts, pallets, and production materials (Kanban support).
- Conduct weekly safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and operational standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency.
- Support additional facilities during peak production periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of leadership experience in production, warehouse, or logistics environments
- Forklift certification (sit-down and stand-up)
- Experience allocating manpower and coordinating workflow
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel required)
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
- Ability to 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and extended hours
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
