Job Full Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Jockey Driver to move trailers and equipment within our facility yard. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractor-trailers in a confined area and will ensure the efficient and safe transport of trailers to designated locations for loading, unloading, and staging.
Key Responsibilities:

Move trailers to and from loading docks, yard locations, and designated areas.

Maintain organization of trailer inventory within the yard.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on jockey truck and report any issues.

Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely trailer movement.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a yard jockey or similar role is a plus.

Ability to safely operate yard tractor or terminal truck.

Strong understanding of yard operations and trailer spotting.

Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and shifts.
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
-
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently throughout the shift.

Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
