Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist (Reach Truck Certified)
About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Control Specialist with proven reach truck operation experience to join our warehouse team. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate inventory records, facilitate efficient warehouse operations, and safely handle high-reach stock movement using a reach truck.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits

Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
-
Operate reach truck and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise

Update inventory systems (WMS/ERP) with real-time data

Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping as needed

Ensure all safety procedures and warehouse standards are followed

Communicate inventory issues to supervisors and collaborate with other departments for resolution
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations
-
Certified to operate a reach truck (or ability to obtain certification)

Experience using WMS, barcode scanners, or similar inventory systems

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with lean warehouse principles or 5S
-
Forklift certification (sit-down/stand-up)

Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, etc.)
