We are hiring Painters/General Laborers to work on large steel transfer cars (giant dollies used to move ships). This position involves hands-on industrial work with opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Pressure wash transfer cars before painting
Sand, prime, and prepare surfaces for coating
Apply 2-part paint using roller brush methods (training provided)
Assist with general labor tasks as needed
Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
Stay focused on the job (no phone use during work hours)
Requirements:
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Comfortable with physical, hands-on labor
Painting or industrial experience is a plus, but not required
