Overview
Express Employment is seeking an experienced Yard Jockey Driver with a CDL A to join our client’s team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting containers between the warehouse and yard while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a yard truck to move trailers/containers throughout the yard and warehouse areas
- Ensure safe and efficient maneuvering of equipment in tight spaces
- Maintain accurate movement logs and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all DOT, company, and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A
- Previous yard jockey experience required
- Clean MVR
- Current DOT medical card
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate safely
