Inventory / Quality Control Specialist
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: M-F 8AM-430PM
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an Inventory / Quality Control Specialist for a supplier and wholesale distributor of name-brand health, beauty, personal care, and household products.
Please note: This is a new facility with an anticipated start date approximately 5–6 weeks out. The client is actively interviewing now to secure top candidates ahead of the warehouse opening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review inbound shipments to verify quantity, inspect for damages, confirm expiration dates, and ensure conformity with purchase orders; document findings accurately
- Inspect outbound shipments for accuracy, product condition, expiration dates, and order compliance
- Perform and oversee cycle counts to maintain accurate and reliable inventory records
- Identify discrepancies and communicate findings promptly to appropriate team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and records using internal systems and basic Excel
- Support overall inventory accuracy and quality control processes
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with warehouse teams
- Comfortable working with numbers, counting inventory, and verifying product data
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills required
- Previous inventory control, quality control, or related warehouse experience required
