Job Full Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, motors, lighting, outlets, and control panels

Maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping
-
Perform general building maintenance including carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor repairs
-
Respond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner

Inspect equipment and facilities to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs
-
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
-
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
-
2+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience preferred

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (preferred)

Working knowledge of HVAC systems

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Ability to read blueprints or technical manuals
-
Valid driver’s license (if required)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
Preferred Experience

Industrial or manufacturing maintenance

PLC troubleshooting (basic knowledge)

Welding or fabrication experience

HVAC certification (EPA preferred)

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Work Environment

Commercial, industrial, or warehouse setting

May require climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, or lifting equipment

On-call or flexible schedule may be required
