Job Full Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bale / Roll Clamp Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for safely operating a clamp attachment forklift used to move large paper rolls, bales, appliances, or other clamp-handled materials without the use of pallets. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating clamp equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a bale or roll clamp forklift attachment to move, load, unload, and stack materials
- Handle large rolls, bales, or palletless products while preventing product damage
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas safely and efficiently
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with general warehouse duties when needed
- Work with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a bale clamp AND roll clamp forklift attachment required
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions (heat, cold, dust)
