Position Overview:
A local Savannah company is seeking a detail-oriented & customer-focused office assistant to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks & thrives in a fast-paced office environment. Responsibilities will include general clerical duties, front desk support, & basic office coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and manage incoming calls in a professional manner
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, filing, and general office organization
- Perform data entry and assist with clerical accounting tasks
- Support bookkeeping functions, including typing and document preparation
- Collaborate with management and office staff on daily and weekly operations
- Assist with a variety of administrative projects across departments
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Typing speed of at least 30+ words per minute
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office support experience
