Warehouse Clerk – Garden City Area
Company: Express Employment Professionals
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Occasionally required
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Warehouse Clerk for the Garden City area. This role requires someone who can work independently, take direction, and help lead daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time daily, at least 10 minutes prior to shift start
- Open and close facility operations as needed
- Coordinate receiving, shipping, and inventory activities across multiple crews
- Direct and support clerks, equipment operators, and labor staff
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and management
- Report equipment issues, facility damages, and missing tools
- Assist with communication involving third parties such as drivers and vendors
- Work overtime when required
- Notify management in advance of any absence or tardiness
Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Previous warehouse or clerk experience preferred
