Shipping Clerk / Parts Warehouse Coordinator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk / Parts Warehouse Coordinator for a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Job Summary
The Shipping Clerk / Parts Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipment of parts and materials. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production and customer requirements, and ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Record receiving transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Label and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Enter inventory transactions into ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Communicate inventory availability and shipment status with internal departments.
- Follow all company safety procedures and inventory control standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control experience required
- Experience working with parts inventory required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and perform repetitive movements
