Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a reach truck to move, lift, retrieve, and store pallets in warehouse racking systems.

    Load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.

    Pick orders and replenish inventory according to warehouse requirements.

    Verify product numbers, quantities, labels, and storage locations.

    Use RF scanners, barcode readers, or warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.

    Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects or safety concerns.

    Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed.

    Keep warehouse aisles and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

    Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling guidelines.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.

    Experience with pallet handling, order picking, inventory replenishment, and high-rack storage systems.

    Experience using RF scanners, barcode readers, or warehouse management systems preferred.

    Reach truck or forklift certification preferred, or willingness to complete required training.

Skills Required

  • Ability to operate a reach truck safely and efficiently in narrow aisles and elevated storage areas.

    Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.

    Ability to read product labels, identify items, and follow written and verbal instructions.

    Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.

    Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Commitment to workplace safety and productivity.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

    Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.

    Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements.

    Ability to safely enter and exit warehouse equipment using designated access points.

    Ability to sit and operate a reach truck for extended periods while maintaining awareness of surroundings.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and safely handle materials at various heights.

    Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
