We are seeking a versatile and proactive Payroll and Benefits Specialist to support a local company.

What You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years progressive HR Benefits and Payroll administration experience with a broad understanding of HR functions.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and compliance requirements, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, and Social Security.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers Group Insurance and Benefit Programs: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring employees understand and utilize their benefits effectively.
· Leave Administration: Manage and administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, disability, and other leave policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Payroll Processing and Management: Oversee bi-monthly payroll processing through HRIS Systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance with laws, and proper contract information setup.
- Timesheet and Reconciliation: Verify timesheet coding for compliance and review and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
