- Schedule: Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm

Medical Clerk III Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year previous experience in a healthcare setting required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of MS Excel / Word, use of computer
- Ability to use fax machine, multi-line phone, scanning, email
Medical Clerk III Duties:
- Answers phones
- Greet & direct visitors (moderate traffic)
- Must be able to speak well and communicate clearly, respectfully, handle calls from managers but also from customers
- Retrieves patient record (HIPAA / confidentiality)
- Analyzes and re-analyzes records
- Monitors chart deficiencies
- Processes admissions and discharges
- Handles requests for health information
- Filing
- Sends follow-up letters to physicians
- Other clerk duties as assigned
