Salary: $48K-$60K Annually
Schedule: Monday thru Friday with some weekends and holidays
Overview: This role is responsible for purchasing ingredients, supplies or equipment that meet desired cost and product specifications. As well, the Buyer monitors inventory and maintains relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel Conduct onsite visits to vendors/suppliers and maintain involvement with vendor trade shows/purchasing events
- Product & Pricing Management: Curate product assortments based on evolving customer preferences and negotiate competitive pricing with vendors/suppliers
- Supplier & Inventory Oversight: Build strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and managed inventory levels to reduce waste and maintain product freshness
- Quality & Compliance Assurance: Enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations across all operations
- Collaboration & Culture Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to implement company initiatives while embodying and promoting the organization’s mission, vision, and values
Qualifications:
· Possess project management skills, including decision making, problem solving and strategic planning
· Strong interpersonal skills in communication and customer service
· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and follow through on systems process and procedures
· Proficiency in computer skills including knowledge of software, spreadsheets and database programs
· Strong working knowledge in coordinating, specifying and bidding items
· Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with internal and external customers
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management
- Purchasing experience in grocery or foodservice industry 3 years
- Must have a valid driver license and be able to travel
- TB clearance required
