About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Supervise Cleaning Operations
Manage daily janitorial and facility maintenance activities, ensuring teams follow cleaning procedures, meet quality standards, and work safely. Provide hands-on support when needed and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Team Training, Scheduling, and Performance Management
Train staff on safety, cleaning protocols, and company procedures. Prepare weekly work schedules, adjust staffing based on project needs, and lead performance reviews to support team development and retention.
- Quality Control and Client Relations
Conduct daily inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with contract scope, address deficiencies promptly, and lead regular client walkthroughs to ensure satisfaction and build strong partnerships.
- Safety and Compliance Oversight
Ensure all team members follow OSHA, state, and company safety regulations. Maintain knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensure proper chemical handling, and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Inventory, Equipment, and Budget Management
Track and maintain supply inventory, oversee equipment maintenance, and manage labor and material costs in alignment with project budgets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in operations or facilities management (janitorial/commercial cleaning preferred)
- 4+ years supervising teams of 25+ employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Background in building maintenance, custodial services, or facility operations
- Bilingual a plus
- Familiarity with janitorial scheduling or work order systems
Shift & Availability
- Full-time availability including overnight shifts (9:00 PM–8:00 AM)
- Must attend at least 3 client walkthroughs per week
- Ability to respond to urgent operational needs as required
