Administrative Assistant – Office & Employee Support
Location: Waipahu, HI
Schedule: Weekdays, Full-Time
Pay Range: $18–20/hour (depending on experience)
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations. This role combines general office administration, employee support, and customer service functions. Ideal candidates are organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in both office and kitchen/warehouse environments.
Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities
General Administration
- Manage phones, interoffice mail, supplies, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
- Prepare reports, memos, presentations, and correspondence
- Record and distribute meeting minutes
- Support expense reporting and petty cash management
- Assist with scheduling for the Executive Director
Employee Support
- Process new hire documents and coordinate with central HR and Payroll teams
- Input schedules and ensure accurate timecard processing
- Maintain employee rosters and tracking sheets
Sales & Customer Service
- Process customer orders via email, phone, or in-person
- Communicate with assigned client accounts
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
- High school diploma required; 2–3 years of administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong typing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- TB Clearance required
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based with occasional work in kitchen/warehouse
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Extended periods of sitting; use of office equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication required
