📐 Project Estimator
📍 Location: Honolulu, HI
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
📌 Type: Long-Term | Office + Jobsite Visits
We’re hiring a Project Estimator / Engineer to help prepare cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projects (with some high-end residential work). This role is ideal for someone with construction experience who is detail-oriented and enjoys working with plans, numbers, and project teams.
🛠 What You’ll Do

Review plans, drawings, and specifications

Prepare detailed cost estimates and project take-offs

Write bid proposals and scope of work documents

Track bid invitations, proposal logs, and bid schedules

Create and track change orders for active projects

Help review contracts, subcontracts, and RFIs

Request pricing and assist with material purchasing

Work with owners, architects, GCs, and project managers during bidding
✅ What We’re Looking For
-
2+ years of construction experience (estimating experience preferred)
-
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar preferred but not required
-
Ability to read construction plans and specifications
-
Strong math and attention to detail
-
Comfortable working on multiple projects at once

Good communication and organizational skills
💻 Software Experience (Preferred)

Office-based with occasional jobsite visits

Desk and computer work most of the day

Able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
