Estimator – Construction & Water Infrastructure

Location: Shop in Kapolei
Schedule: Day Shift
Type: Full-Time
Pay: Based on experience

A well-established Local contractor specializing in water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects is seeking an experienced Estimator to support bidding, project planning, and cost analysis. This organization delivers complex projects that support essential utilities and infrastructure across the islands and is known for its technical expertise and collaborative project approach.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing data, and partnering with project teams to ensure projects are accurately priced and positioned for success.

Your Contribution & Impact

Project Estimating:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for negotiated and competitive projects.

Collaboration:
Meet with clients, engineers, and internal teams to fully understand project scope and requirements.

Change Order Estimates:
Prepare pricing for project changes and adjustments as work progresses.

Cost Analysis:
Monitor estimated costs versus actual construction costs and identify variances.

Process Improvement:
Review estimating methods, staffing, materials, and workflows to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Capital Planning:
Estimate costs for new equipment or capital investments as needed.

Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare reports and production forecasts and provide recommendations to project management.

Profit Planning:
Help establish pricing structures that support project profitability.
