Accounts Receivable Clerk
Hilo, HI
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for maintaining customer accounts by receiving and posting payments, sending monthly statements and calling on past due accounts.

What You’ll Do
· Accurately receive and record all customer payments (cash, ACH, checks, credit cards) and ensure they are applied to the correct accounts in a timely manner.
· Prepare daily cash reports and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date accounts receivable records.
· Monitor past‑due accounts and contact customers, escalating disputes or unresolved issues to the appropriate AR team members.
· Manage customer account activity, including statements, invoices, credit applications, service charge adjustments, and release of account holds.
· Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly and collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues.

What You Bring
- Experience in accounting
- Degree in accounting a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
