Project & Finance Administrator

Honolulu, HI

A Non Profit company Express is partnering with is hiring for a Project & Finance Administrator supports core business operations of advancing housing solutions with a focus on financial, contractual, risk and compliance deliverables needed to move projects forward.

What You’ll Do

·  Manage contracts and compliance across housing development projects, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to federal, state, and county requirements.

·  Support risk management by tracking insurance certificates, organizing official project documentation, and coordinating with legal and insurance partners.

·  Provide project management support, including file maintenance, document processing, consultant coordination, and assistance with municipal approvals.

·  Assist with site due diligence by reviewing title reports, evaluating infrastructure and zoning, conducting market analyses, and supporting community outreach.

·  Support financial management through billing processing, budget and cashflow assistance, preparation of funding draws, and contributing to cost‑saving value‑engineering efforts.

·  Assist with program and organizational development, including industry recruitment, engagement activities, and supporting standardized project management practices.


What You Bring

·  Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Finance, Business, Real Estate Development) or equivalent experience, plus 2–3 years of experience in construction project administration, accounting, budgeting, or estimating.

·  Skills & Abilities: Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage competing deadlines, solve problems independently, adapt processes, communicate effectively, and build strong internal and external relationships.

·  Technical & Other Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); valid Hawaii driver’s license and required auto insurance; ability to pass a background check; team‑oriented with sound judgment and flexibility.
