Accountant
Location: Honolulu, HI
Compensation: Up to $70,000 (DOE)
Make an impact from day one. You’ll support core accounting operations—reconciliations, billing, intercompany activity, and Excel-based analysis—while helping keep our financials clean and our teams informed. You’ll also work in QuickBooks and ERP and pitch in on system improvements/migrations as we scale.
What You’ll Do
• Own daily/weekly reconciliations, billing, and intercompany transactions; investigate variances and keep records audit-ready.
• Collect and validate invoices and accounting documents; process bills so vendors are paid accurately and on time.
• Support AP/AR workflows, credit-card charge reviews, and resolution of payment discrepancies/returns/refunds.
• Build and maintain recurring reports and ad-hoc analyses; assist with statements and special finance reports for leadership.
• Update QuickBooks/ERP transactions, maintain organized digital/physical files, and respond to vendor/customer inquiries.
• Help with system troubleshooting/migrations and light process improvements as we standardize workflows.
What You’ll Bring
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and ERP (required).
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations, lookups, pivots, and data validation.
• Detail orientation, prioritization, and clear communication with internal teams and vendors.
