Position Overview
A hospital in beautiful Kailua is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13‑week travel contract. This role supports a busy surgical services department and requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced OR environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical cases (based on experience)
Maintain a safe, sterile environment and ensure adherence to all OR protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Support patient safety, advocacy, and high‑quality outcomes

Position Details

Requirements:

• Current State of Hawaii RN License
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years of recent Acute OR RN experience (within the last 24 months)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Current Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year)
• N95 Fit Test
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
