Assistant Branch Manager – Full-Time

Location: Kailua, Oahu
Pay: $56,684 – $85,206 annually (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday


Assistant Branch Manager

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Branch Manager to support branch leadership at a well‑established financial institution in Kailua. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong operational knowledge, a passion for team development, and a commitment to service excellence.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, coach staff, drive sales performance, and ensure a positive and productive branch culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support branch profitability, sales performance, and operational excellence
  • Supervise daily branch operations and provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff
  • Train, coach, and develop employees in sales, service, and lending processes
  • Monitor performance metrics and generate reports related to sales, service, and member satisfaction
  • Assist with staffing schedules, workload allocation, and workflow efficiency
  • Address complex member situations and escalations professionally
  • Recommend process improvements and personnel actions as appropriate
  • Serve as back‑up to the Branch Manager as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Ability to foster teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
  • Solid understanding of branch operations, lending, and sales performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 4 years of related experience
    or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year of loan underwriting experience
  • Supervisory experience (required)
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • NMLS License (required)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle
  • Credit must be in good standing
  • Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA Rules and Regulations
