Accounting Specialist / Payroll Coordinator

What You’ll Do
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, check and ACH payments, cash receipts, and billing support.
• Prepare contract billing, monthly reports, GET reports, and assist with general accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, organized AP files, corporate credit card coding, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor AR activity, follow up on delinquencies, and help resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support semi monthly payroll processing, timesheet review, payroll updates, PTO tracking, payroll reports, and W2 support.
What You’ll Bring
• Strong AP and AR experience required.
• 3 years’ experience with reconciliations, bookkeeping, billing, payroll support, or general accounting activities.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems.
• Ceridian or payroll experience helpful, but training may be provided for candidates with strong accounting experience.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
