Job Full Description
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is an essential member of the surgical team, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and sterile surgical procedures. Working under the supervision and delegatory authority of a surgeon, the CST prepares the operating room, manages instruments and equipment, and supports the surgical team throughout invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
Position Details
- Specialty: Surgical Tech
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 40 hours, 10 hour shifts
- Location: Kailua, HI
Compensation
- Weekly Gross: $1900
- Taxed Hourly Rate: $20/hr
- Stipend: $1100
Requirements:
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP/ARC‑STSA)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 year of recent CST experience (within the last 24 months)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Current Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year)
- N95 Fit Test
- Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
