Staff Accountant

What You'll Do
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities
- Maintain vendor records and support accurate financial reporting
- Partner with department leaders to track financial activity and funding requirements
- Assist with audits, documentation, and compliance reporting
- Help keep accounting operations organized and running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with formulas and spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
- Valid Hawaii driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in nonprofit accounting
- Experience supporting audits or grant-funded programs
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting
- Ability to travel off-island when business needs require it
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
