Chief Engineer / Engineering Manager | $150,000 - $175,000/year DOE | Full-Time | Honolulu, HI
Express Employment has partnered with a respectable real estate development and property management company in Honolulu that is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer / Engineering Manager to oversee building operations, maintenance programs, capital improvements, and engineering staff across a premier commercial property portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance personnel
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and building systems
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while planning and coordinating capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and operational standards
- Respond to building emergencies and critical system issues
- Maintain records, operational logs, and regulatory documentation
- Drive asset preservation, sustainability efforts, and operational efficiencies
What We're Looking For?
- Valid Driver's License
- 5+ years of leadership experience within commercial property management, engineering, facilities or building operations
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance programs, and capital projects
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and contract services
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and operational needs
