💰 $55,000 - $80,000 Annually (Based on Experience)
🕒 Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Our client is seeking a Claims Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy Claims Department. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can develop employees, improve processes, maintain claims systems, and ensure the department meets established standards for accuracy and turnaround time.

What You’ll Do
Claims Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily claims processing operations and departmental workflow
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround standards are consistently met
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Claims Department employees
- Assign work, evaluate performance, and support employee development
- Establish and maintain claims processing policies, procedures, and guidelines
Claims Systems & Reporting
- Maintain and update health plans within the claims processing system
- Coordinate system updates, new edits, fee schedules, and coding changes
- Generate and review productivity and performance reports
- Monitor processing standards, timelines, and workflow distribution
- Stay current on industry regulations and changes affecting claims processing
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous claims supervision, management, or related leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of claims administration, regulations, and processing systems
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Professional written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding preferred
- College degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred
