Job Full Description
Express Employment has a Client in Effingham, IL. looking for Full-time Mechanical Technicians for their first and second shifts. The pay is $22/hr. and up depending on experiece. The work schedule is Monday-Friday.
Job Duties Consist of:
- Performs minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs as necessary.
- Troubleshoots, inspects, and diagnoses machine mechanical problems and corrects as necessary
- Assists in maintaining inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Maintains and repairs machinery through preventative maintenance and as needed
- Records maintenance and repair work performed
- Assists in the design and fabrication of tools for production equipment.
- Performs nightly inspections of facility and secures the building at the close of second shift
- Responds quickly in the event of an emergency on First or second shift, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocols
