Surveillance Tech
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a qualified Surveillance Tech for a company in Mattoon, IL. The Surveillance Tech maintains and supports security camera systems across multiple store locations. This position helps protect company assets by ensuring surveillance equipment is operating properly and by assisting with investigations. This position plays an important role in reducing loss and supporting a safe and secure retail environment. This is a full-time, permanent position paying $1600-$18.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Support a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and company assets.
- Monitor surveillance systems for theft, safety concerns, policy violations, and operational issues.
- Assist associates with camera system access and video review requests.
- Review reports and transactions to identify potential discrepancies or suspicious activity.
- Manage alarm access and support associates with alarm-related issues.
- Communicate Loss Prevention programs and promote awareness of security initiatives.
- Conduct package checks and other security procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security activities.
- Review video footage and provide information to management, Human Resources, or law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company and employee information.
- Provide professional and timely support to associates, stores, and customers.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with surveillance, security systems, or related technology preferred.
- Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
