Job Full Description
Machine Operator:
A top manufacturing company in the Rockford area is looking for a qualified machine operator to join their team! This is a 1st shift opportunity, M-F 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional weekends at the end of days or on Saturdays when needed. The basics of this position are loading aramid fiber on a creel, coating aramid fiber in wax, cutting and packaging aramid fiber. This also requires quality checks on cut fiber throughout the shift. Job Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Comfortable with hand and power tools
- Lift up to 50lbs as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to stand on feet for duration of shift
