1st Shift Warehouse Associate
Our client, a well established manufactured company in Rockford, is looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Associate on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, loading, and shipping millwork products. Hours for this job are M-F 6:30AM-3PM and pay is $18-$23 BOE. Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming shipments.
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets.
- Load and unload trucks while handling products carefully to prevent damage.
- Stage orders for customer pickup and delivery routes.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Verify inventory quantities and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training may be provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually and 75-100 pounds with a helper throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Basic math and communication skills.
