1st Shift Production Worker
Our client is looking for a dependable and motivated a Production Worker for a well-established custom manufacturing company in the Rockford area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team that values quality craftsmanship, safety, and reliability. Hours for this job are M-F 6:30AM-3PM and pay is $18-$23 BOE. Job Responsibilities
- Assemble and manufacture custom wood products according to specifications.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely.
- Measure, cut, sand, and finish materials with attention to detail.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or production drawings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with packaging, staging, and other production duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, woodworking, cabinet making, or millwork experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds alone and 75-100lbs with a helper.
- Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
