A metal treating facility in the Rockford, IL area is looking for a dependable Shipping & Delivery Associate to join their team.
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, depending on preference
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles to make local pickups and deliveries
- Load and unload metal parts and materials
- Prepare and organize outgoing shipments
- Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and general shipping duties
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
- Safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Comfortable driving company vehicles for local deliveries
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Able to lift and move materials as needed
- Shipping, warehouse, or delivery experience is helpful but not required
