CNC Machinist – Weekends Only
Location: Springfield, IL
Pay: $18–$22/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Paid for 40 hours
We’re hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a weekend-only shift—work three long days, get paid for 40 hours, and enjoy four days off every week.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and basic machine tools to perform precision machining

Calculate dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, depth micrometers, inside diameter gauges, and outside diameter gauges

Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials

Ensure parts meet quality and accuracy standards
What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of CNC machining experience required

Hands-on experience using micrometers, depth micrometers, inside diameter gauges, and outside diameter gauges

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
