Payroll Accountant Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Maintain payroll records, employee data, and payroll reporting
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Complete bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy
- Assist with bookkeeping and general accounting duties
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Ensure accurate financial documentation and recordkeeping
Payroll Accountant Qualifications
- Previous payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting experience required
- Knowledge of payroll processing, payroll reporting, and accounting procedures
- Experience with accounting software and bookkeeping systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and deadlines
