Human Resources Manager
Location: Springfield, IL
Pay: $80,000–$100,000/year (DOE)
A stable, people-focused organization in Springfield, IL is hiring an experienced Human Resources Manager. This role supports all core HR functions and offers a clear path to Human Resources Director within 18–24 months.
Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and required training

Partner with leadership on hiring, employee relations, and performance management

Administer benefits, timekeeping, payroll coordination, and HRIS records
-
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
-
Manage leave programs (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation)
-
Support employee engagement, policy updates, and HR process improvement
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

8+ years of progressive HR experience
-
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
-
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
-
Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters

Excellent communication and confidentiality skills
