What You'll Do
- Contact insurance companies to verify benefits using a structured list of questions
- Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance information, eligibility, deductibles, copays, and filing timelines
- Review and enter procedure codes using the company's claims processing system
- Perform accurate data entry
- Communicate professionally with insurance representatives by phone and email
- Maintain detailed records while meeting productivity and accuracy goals
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Support claims processing for an Early Intervention program serving children ages 0–3
What You'll Bring
- Insurance, medical billing, claims processing, healthcare administration, customer service, or office administration experience is a plus
- Medical claims or insurance billing experience is a plus
- Familiarity with deductibles, copays, and insurance verification is helpful
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- College coursework or a degree is a plus, but not required
