What You'll Do
- Learn to operate gear hobbing machines and gear grinders
- Monitor multiple machines running long production cycles (up to 6 hours each)
- Produce gears to spec, checking quality along the way
- Use precision tools (mics) to check work, with full training provided
- Maintain a safe, steady pace in a hands-on production environment
What You'll Bring
- Mechanical experience is required — auto, factory machines, farm equipment, or similar backgrounds all count
- Gear machine experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to sticking with it
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in a shop environment
