What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new business through referrals, networking, lead generation, and community outreach
- Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend the right coverage
- Quote, sell, and service Property & Casualty insurance products
- Build strong client relationships that encourage retention and referrals
- Follow up on leads, policy renewals, and cross-selling opportunities
- Educate clients on coverage options, policy benefits, and risk management
- Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems
- Work toward individual sales goals and performance metrics
- Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes
What You'll Bring
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Insurance sales, customer service, or related experience is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with computer systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Great organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with an independent or captive agency, personal or commercial lines, or a Life & Health license are all a plus, but not required
