What You'll Do
- Provide oversight, guidance, and a steady presence for about 9 families living at the shelters
- Oversee and schedule up to 10-15 staff across two shelters
- Arrange treatment and appointments for residents, and drive them when needed
- Keep accurate, thorough case files and documentation
- Take calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule
What You'll Bring
- A bachelor's degree (required); a master's in social work is welcome
- Experience in social services, substance abuse recovery, or managing people is a strong plus
- A commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle
- A calm, steady presence under pressure: you stay logical rather than reactive, hold your ground, and are comfortable calling for help when needed
- Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills
