Staff Accountant: Springfield, IL
Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Up to $80,000/year, based on experience

Join a top Springfield accounting and tax firm that's seen record growth over the past decade, adding a Staff Accountant to a team of 20+ professionals. Your work will touch everything from AP/AR to payroll tax to tax prep, working closely with the Accounting Manager.

What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and file sales tax and payroll tax
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Calculate depreciation and post payments
- Assist with tax preparation
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager on day-to-day priorities
What You'll Bring

- Accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
