Senior Accountant
Full-time | Springfield, IL | Up to $85,000, based on experience
A growing, established manufacturer is adding a Senior Accountant who wants to do more than close the books. You'd work alongside operations and leadership, turn the numbers into insight, and help support an employee-ownership culture.

What You'll Do
- Prepare journal entries and monthly financial reports
- Review results and dig into operational analysis
- Handle government reporting and compliance
- Support the employee ownership plan and company insurance programs
- Help with annual audits and tax preparation
- Partner with operations and leadership on what the numbers mean
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Solid grasp of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and ERP experience
- Analytical thinking, organization, and good communication
