Accountant, Springfield Accounting & Tax Firm
Full-time | Springfield, IL | Up to $80,000, based on experience
A Springfield accounting firm with 20+ professionals has grown steadily for a decade, and it needs another accountant. You'd serve Central Illinois clients and learn the work alongside an Accounting Manager. The firm offers generous retirement contributions, a stock option plan, and a flexible office.

What You'll Do
- Work closely with an Accounting Manager on client engagements
- Handle general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Manage payroll tax and bank reconciliations
- Assist with tax preparation
- Support Central Illinois clients with accounting and tax needs
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Prior accounting experience
