Hotel Assistant Manager – Springfield, IL

Step into a hands-on leadership role at a small, franchise-style hotel in Springfield. You’ll guide the front desk and housekeeping teams, keep brand standards sharp, and make sure every guest has a great stay. What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team of about 20 across the front desk and housekeeping
- Keep service and brand standards high and keep guests happy
- Schedule and oversee the front desk (three shifts a day), laundry, and housekeeping teams
- Work from checklists and systems to keep the property running smoothly
- Work with a variety of employees and vendors
- Be on your feet, walking the property and supporting your team
What You’ll Bring
- Hotel experience managing some or all areas of a property (front desk or other hotel management is a plus)
- Familiarity with franchise brand standards is welcome
- A hospitality or customer service background
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working from checklists
- Confidence using hotel computer systems
- A leadership style that’s supportive and service-focused
- Willingness to stand and walk throughout the shift
