Marketing Assistant – Taylorville, IL
Create content, be on camera, and own your marketing at a family-friendly, no-stuffy-corporate-vibes company with its own on-site studio.
Join a fun, creative team in Taylorville as the voice and face of the brand. You’ll create social media content, shoot and edit video in an on-site studio, and even appear in the videos yourself. No two days look the same, and you’ll have the autonomy to own your work. It’s a great fit for an outgoing creative who likes variety and a family-style workplace.
What You’ll Love
- Pay up to $24/hour, based on experience
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

What You’ll Do
- Manage the social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube
- Appear in videos shot in the on-site studio
- Edit video using CapCut
- Shoot photos and video, and design graphics
- Support the team with basic marketing, office tasks, and customer communication
- Handle customer concerns with care and tact
What You’ll Bring
- Videography, photography, and graphic design or photo editing skills (a year or more is great)
- Comfort with CapCut, Canva, Adobe, and Photoroom
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An outgoing, deadline-driven, multitasking personality
- A knack for working with a family-style team
- Some marketing or sales experience is welcome
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or ads is a bonus
- Comfort with Outlook, Excel, and QuickBooks is nice to have
- Interest in or knowledge of firearms
- High school diploma
