A family-owned company in the North Vernon area is looking for a motivated individual that is mechanically inclined. The company is hiring immediately!
Machinist Trainee's Pay/Benefits:
- Pay starts at $17-$22/HR (depending on experience)
- Once hired on, the company offers competitive benefits
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, overtime as needed
Company Info/Job Duties:
- Machine repair/maintenance
- Associate will learning alongside tenured employees how to complete the job.
- Very hands on work in a machine shop setting.
- The facility has partial climate control.
Requirements:
- Must be able to do math and work with fractions and decimals
- Comfortable working at a slower pace as the projects take weeks to complete
- Basic understand of hand and power tools
