We have an Employment Specialist opening in our Columbus office and we are looking for the next person to join our team!
This Employment Specialist / Inside Sales role is a key position in our office. Our specialty is helping our clients hire the best people and also assist them with finding the extra associates they need for flexible, short and long term assignments. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for filling job orders with urgency by recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing applicants in positions.
- Consultative customer service/selling skills and the ability to make inside sales and recruiting calls on a daily basis to both clients and prospects via the phone.
- Build relationships with client companies to expand business and generate new accounts
- Build and maintain a core of strong associates in a variety of functions in order to fill orders quickly and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Learn, utilize and maintain the automated tracking system to fill assignments
- Communicate with applicants about job placement
- Implement the Employment Verification procedures
- Provide human resource tools to assist our client companies
- Work with entire team to provide high customer satisfaction levels and retention with associates and clients
- Coordinate and reprioritize activities on a daily basis
Training:
You will be enrolled in our Power Train program during your first 30 days. This well planned training will set-up your success as a new Employment Specialist. You will then enroll into Express University and look to earn your Inside Sales Certification. You never stop learning at Express!

Job Requirements:
- 4 year College Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in the recruiting or staffing industry is a plus but not required!
- Experience in a customer service or inside sales role desired
- Strong computer skills that include: MS Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional approach with associates and clients
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task & change gears often while working in a fast-paced environment
- Goal oriented with sense of urgency mindset
