Job Full Description
Job Summary/Company Information:
- Lead Press Operator in the Edinburgh Area
- Lead and support press operators to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
- Monitor workflow and assist with scheduling jobs to maximize efficiency
- Train new employees on press operations, quality procedures, and quality standards
- Setting up and performing all assembly operation
- Operating presses
- Ensuring parts comply with quality standards
- Equipment could include disk and belt sanders, grinders, deflashing equipment, oven operation, scrap buster, teflon applicator, and bolt master
- Calculate and set controls
- Setup and operate machines
- Process parts correctly through shop
- Interpret process sheets and tooling sheet charts
- Pack parts for shipment, ensuring correct counts and part numbers on each box
- Clean and maintain a safe work area daily
Pay/Benefits:
- Up to $26/hr based on experience

Schedule:
- Day Shift: 6am to 4:30pm, Mon-Thurs
Requirements:
- Prior leadership, lead, trainer, or supervisory experience required
- Previous press operating experience preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work accurately and with strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks at one time as well as repetitive tasks for a long period
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs (boxes of steel)
